Rx. Adenophorae Nan Sha Shen 12g Nourishes Yin, moistens the Lungs, dispels Phlegm, stops coughing, nourishes the Stomach, generates fluids and clears Heat.
Endoconcha Sepiae Hai Piao Xiao 15g Restrains, holds in and stops bleeding, resolves Dampness and promotes healing.
Halloysitum Rubrum Chi Shi Zhi 9g Astringes the Intestines, stops diarrhea, contains the Blood and stops bleeding.
Rx. Ophiopogonis Mai Men Dong 9g Moistens the Lungs, nourishes Yin, resolves Phlegm, stops coughing and nourishes Stomach Yin.
With Wu Mei, for Upper or Middle Jiao wasting and thirsting disorder with intense Dryness of the throat and an unquenchable thirst.
With Nan Sha Shen, for a dry cough with little Phlegm and a parched throat due to Lung Dryness or Heat injuring the Lung Yin and a dry throat, constipation, thirst and a red tongue with little coat due to pathogenic Warmth or Heat injuring the Stomach Yin or long-term Yin Deficiency.
With Sheng Di Huang, for Hematemesis or epistaxis due to Yin Deficiency with Excess Heat.
